Today we are hosting the 5th annual Renville County Parks Outdoor Education Day at Birch Coulee County Park. Soon the park will be full of kids learning about a variety of topics and enjoying one of the beautiful parks we have. The park is closed to the general public until 4pm today. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Several broken glass bottles were found at Skalbekken County Park recently and we wanted to share a quick reminder for everyone who enjoys our outdoor spaces.

Please help keep our parks clean and safe by taking your trash with you or using proper receptacles. Broken glass isn’t just unsightly; it can seriously injure people, pets, and wildlife, and it harms the environment we all share.

Fortunately, we had some guests who voluntarily picked up and removed what they could. Special thanks to them and anyone who has ever picked up trash that didn't belong to them.

Let’s all do our part to keep the parks a place everyone can enjoy. Thanks for looking out for each other and for this beautiful space. 🌿
