It was a perfect day today for our 2026 fishing derby. We had a great turn out of kids to participate, and members helping out. We had well over 100 kids participating in our derby this year. A big thank you again to the Olean Youth Recreation for sponsoring, and Whitetail Country Sports World for the donation of the prizes. Can't wait till next year, we will see you in 2027 !!!!

Our annual fishing derby that is sponsored by the City of Olean Youth Recreation will be on Saturday June 20th at Forness Park Pond. Registration starts at 9:30am with the activities starting at 10am and going till Noon. At the completion of the derby awards will be given out that were donated by Whitetail Country Sports World. Hotdogs, chips and beverages will be provided to the kids from our club. You have to bring your own fishing gear, but we will have worms for the kids until they are gone.

Tonight was our June monthly meeting, and also the night of our Spring Raffle fundraiser. Thank you to all thr members that sold tickets, and congratulations to all the winners. You will be contacted by our Club President, John Fahey, to collect your winnings.

We will not have a monthly meeting again till Monday September 14th due to Labor Day.
