ATTENTION NRA CERTIFIED PISTOL INSTRUCTORS. If you have considered adding the NRA Nationwide CCW Course to your Resume, Now is the time.

We have the NRA Nationwide CCW Instructor Series coming up on March 28-29, 2025. The Course Fee for the Student Course (which is required) and the Instructor Course is $300.00.

It is required that we have a minimum of 4 students for an Instructor Level Course. We are somewhat below that number right now.

The Drop-Dead date is Friday, March 21st. If we don't have enough students, we will have to canceal this series. We have only had to do this 2-3 times in the past 16 years.

For the first time in almost a decade, Florida wildlife officials are considering a black bear hunt. 🐻

The in December asked its staff to come up with proposals for a possible hunt as officials pointed to what they consider a now-flourishing bear population. Wildlife advocates worry a hunt could be unwarranted, especially after the 2015 hunting season was cut short when hunters killed the permitted bear quota in roughly 48 hours.

Florida’s fall hunting seasons opened recently just in time for the 2024 election cycle. Florida Amendment 2, which will be on the ballot this November, proposes to amend the state constitution by establishing the right to hunt and fish in Florida.
