Happy Birthday to Jacob Allen, one of our Concerts in the Park favorites! 🎶

Our concerts just wouldn’t be the same without him — selling those 50/50 tickets, keeping everyone entertained, and of course making sure we NEVER end a concert without “God Bless America!” 🇺🇸🎤

He’s dedicated, dependable, always ready with a smile, and has become such a special part of our summer concert tradition.

EARLY RELEASE ADVENTURES ARE HERE!

School gets out early… so you know what that means! We’re kicking off our first TWO Early Release adventures with a little summer fun and a whole lot of fall vibes!

SEPTEMBER 16 — WILD ACRES POOL
Summer isn’t over just yet!

We’re heading to Wild Acres Pool for an afternoon packed with: Swimming & splashing
Bouncing pillow adventures
Playground fun
Lots of laughs with friends!

What to bring:
Bathing suit
Towel
Life vest, if your child uses one

WATER SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY!
We take water safety very seriously. Children will be closely monitored and will not go past their belly buttons while in the pool. If your child has a life vest that they use or are more comfortable wearing, please have them bring it along.

OCTOBER 21 — PUMPKIN VALLEY FARM
Starting to feel like fall, y’all!

We’re heading to Pumpkin Valley Farm for an afternoon full of fall fun, exploring, and autumn adventures!

What to bring:
Weather-appropriate clothing
Comfortable, appropriate shoes for exploring the farm

UPDATE FOR GULL CARE FAMILIES:

We are SO excited to welcome our returning Gull Care families back, and we are especially excited to welcome all of our new families joining us!

We have a little update to share for the upcoming school year! The gang is getting back together! Due to staffing arrangements and enrollment numbers, all Gull Care students in Pre-K through 5th grade will be together at Jameson School for aftercare. This is subject to change as the school year gets going, but he will be notified well in advance if that is the case.

While everyone will be at the same location, we’ll still make sure each age group has age-appropriate spaces, activities, games, and opportunities designed specifically for them.

We will be sticking with one Gull Care phone number for all pick-up procedures, which will help keep things simple and consistent for our families!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: CALENDARS!
Please make sure you submit your child’s Gull Care calendar with the specific dates they will need care. We are not able to officially enroll students into the Gull Care program until we have their calendar with the requested dates selected. This helps us plan staffing and make sure we are prepared to provide the best possible care for everyone.

BRUINS FANS, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

We’re heading to Boston for a Sunday afternoon Bruins game as the B’s take on the Florida Panthers at TD Garden!

Former Bruins captain and Boston favorite Brad Marchand makes another return to TD Garden wearing a Panthers sweater, and you’ll also have the chance to see Team USA Olympic gold medalists on both rosters!

And we’re not driving! We’re taking the Amtrak Downeaster from S**o to Boston’s North Station, giving you plenty of time before the 1:00 PM puck drop to grab lunch, explore Boston, shop, or check out the Bruins Pro Shop.

Your trip fee includes your game ticket, round-trip Amtrak fare, bus transportation to/from S**o Station, and bus parking.

Get ready for an exciting fall sports season with Old Orchard Beach Recreation! We are thrilled to offer a variety of youth sports programs and clinics designed to keep kids active, build confidence, make friendships, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

Our programs focus on skill development, teamwork & sportsmanship, confidence building, staying active & healthy, having fun, building friendships, and strengthening community.
