The little girl in this photo is learning how to pick out a horse's hoof.
The older rider beside her isn't just teaching horse care.
She's sharing knowledge that was once passed down to her.
One of my favorite things about our farm is watching experienced riders encourage younger ones, celebrate their successes, and help build their confidence.
Over the years, I've watched this happen again and again. Young riders arrive eager to learn, and before long they're the ones helping the next generation discover a love for horses.
Watching kindness, patience, leadership, and mentorship pass from one child to another is something truly special.
This is why I love what I do. 🐴🤍

Every rider starts somewhere.
One lesson at a time, they learn to be brave, trust themselves, and try things they once thought were impossible.
Then one day, they hop off their horse with confidence and a smile that says, "I did it."
It's never just about riding.
It's about helping children discover how capable they truly are.

They first come to Pferde Farm as little horse-loving girls — some as young as 3 years old — with big dreams, nervous excitement, and quiet determination.
Over the years, we watch them grow into incredible young women: kind, confident, smart, funny, hardworking, and the type of leaders younger riders naturally look up to.
Through horses, they learn so much more than riding. They build confidence, responsibility, friendships, independence, and a sense of direction that carries into school, college, and life.
Watching children grow up here — from pony rides and first lessons to becoming strong, capable young adults preparing for their future — is one of the greatest gifts of this farm.
