📌Any advice to newbies, or those looking to try CrossFit?
📌I would say lean into the coaches! They are all soooo helpful and kind. And Everything is scalable no matter what your fitness level and I love that. I love when Shauna says “this is your workout” so find a level that works for you.
📌What motivates you to get to the gym? A desire to be able to lift my grandkiddos off the floor! And my new friends in the 9:15 crew!
📌What did you think after completing your first CrossFit workout?
Man am I out of shape! And also realizing how much I missed a good workout. I believe my first workout was a hero WOD!
📌What is your favorite movement / WOD? I would have to say the rower. And I think any of the Hero WOD’s which remind me to not whine!
📌Main reason for joining OHC?
The community- Since day one, everyone has been so welcoming and friendly. That makes all the difference in my motivation and a bonus is the fun!
📌How has OHC changed your life?
Its been instrumental in getting a routine for this new stage of life, and exercise is so important to my mental health and the joy in my life.
📌What results have you seen so far since coming to OHC?
My legs feel stronger, and I am able to run a mile again (thanks to Murph).
📌Tell us something we don’t know about you?
I feel like I’ve over shared and told everyone all my life story, But perhaps no one knows that I did not play any sports or exercise or do anything physical as an activity until I was in my mid 30s. It’s never too late to start!!
