Just minutes from the charming Adk village of Old Forge with shops, restaurants and lodging- this is the perfect getaway! Nestled in the central Adirondacks just outside Old Forge, New York, McCauley Mountain's 633-foot vertical drop, 21 ski trails of 3,000-5,000 ft, one triple chairlift, 1 T-bar, two rope tows and one NEW Sunkid conveyor lift on our beginner hill, so you never have to look hard t

o find a challenge. McCauley provides skiing for all levels of skiers along with terrain of a “big mountain” ski resort without long lift lines or high-ticket prices. Average annual snowfall is 200". With snowmaking on 65% of the trails, McCauley is able to offer an average base of 120+ inches and 95 days of skiing on the average. Just outside of the town of Old Forge with lodging, restaurants and shops for a perfect ADK getaway!

Well all, it’s that time of year again when we say “ ski ya later” We want to thank everyone that joined us this winter for some awesome skiing and riding at McCauley Mountain! It was a great season with snow and smiles galore! We want to thank our crew for an amazing job and our concessionaires that brought it all together. We will miss seeing everyone but remember- summer scenic chair rides will start up at the end of June and Mountain Bike Season is right around the corner!! Till then- take care!😎

Hi all! Just giving an update to our plan for operations through the rest of the season... We will be closed this week Wednesday 4/1; Thursday 4/2. We are closely monitoring our snow conditions through this current wave of moisture. Our hope would be to reopen for Friday & Saturday 4/3 & 4/4 - but no promises at this point as much depends on the weather. Please continue to read our posts and check our website or call the office 315-369-3225.

Finally, Friday!! And the sun is shining at McCauley Mountain! Specials today- Buddy day for season pass holders, Friday only-bring a buddy and get their ticket for just $10!! Moms and Dads (Grandma- Grandpa) of TOW students- get a $10 ticket when you bring the TOW season pass holding student! Our version of a STAY-CATION. This deal goes into the end of the season -includes weekends!

Starting Saturday March 28 thru the end of the season, parents can ski with their Town of Webb student for just $10 a day!TOW students must have their season pass with them. Vacation right here in your backyard and create some magical memories !!!
