A WINTER INVITATION
Beneath the drifts of gleaming snow
The lesser prey, the foxes know,
Are hunkered down to wait the thaw.
The only tracks, a foxhound paw.
But mostly hounds remain abed,
Their kennels warm, and all are fed.
Old Chatham rests and dreams of June-
Our time to Road can’t come too soon.
Our Huntsman braves these winter days
By coaxing hounds with clever ways
To stretch and yawn in winter's sun.
Please join her, folks, for winter fun!
HOUND WALKING DAILY, 10:00 AM
THURSDAY AFTERNOON WALKS AT 4:00 PM
Text the Huntsman to confirm. She welcomes the company - and so do the hounds!
