What a good year it was fishing Lake Ontario in 2024. Fishing Olcott, New York has been getting better each year. Here's a brief re-cap of Badman Charters success.

A good two days of chasing salmon on Lake Ontario produced near limits each day of kings. In particular, day 2 was a bit of a struggle, but managed to locate some more friendlier targets. Dick Biro, with  fellow, anglers Steve, Wayne and Jim helped to keep the day exciting in between all our hook ups, and landing of the sometimes elusive salmon.

2 good days fishing with the Tom Dyer group. Managed to pull near limits each day with the 5 nan crew from Pennsylvania. Always fun fishing with these guys. These guys are like a bird dog on point waiting for the flush when waiting for the down rigger to pop or when a wire screams.

Dave Shook and son enjoyed a great day after a delayed start. But the 1/2 day trip still ended successfully.  First timers on Lake Ontario and they said they will be back! Hard to believe they’ve never fished like this in the open waters before. They handled the rods like seasoned anglers, bringing those kings to the net.  Good job Dave and Will, look forward to seeing you again.

Lake Ontario is back on track as far as the Pacific salmon program is concerned.

Plans are set for a return trip again this year to New York and looking forward to battling Lake Ontario salmon. The Badman will be en-route July 21 and staying till August 16.

Covid last year was more of a personal thing for alot of people. Playing it safe was the norm for some individuals and some not. Understandingly, is why my Lake Ontario salmon season didn't happen in 2020. With the virus on the way out, most everyone are hopeful to having a near normal summer and 𝑭𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒖𝒏. So for those who missed out last on year trip, some dates are still available and booking can be made.
