Saying salmon are biting could, and does sound redundant... but who cares haha
as V. P. Put it hard to beat the “ cott” for intense fast as it can get chinook salmon fishing opportunities ! The “ east keeps pushing cold water in and the kings won’t and don’t need to vacant “our” waters, definitely get with a local pro or call us soon as this is a very special opportunity to fish kings in tight to shore and in the top columns of water where they are ruthless!

Happy Easter to all ! Grandchildren... too much fun !
A few days from now I’ll be sure to keep you up on day to day action we experience!
My commitments to my fellow captains are very important to me one more to go and I’ll be happy to have met my promises they have krpto-Kurt better than original repairs ... looking forward to great fishing that has already begun . Good day to all,
Rolling along into a new year I had another knee replacement ... With that extra time recovering I was looking through pictures and stumbled on another from the 90s during a period when salmon numbers were under the microscope.
I am thankful for this unparalleled resource in
“ Lake Ontario “
As described “world class “ by a fisheries biologist professional from a northwestern state( Washington/Oregon) I was proud to showcase our phenomenal fishery.
The old picture was taken during the first years of “SHONGO” memorial derby 90’s ( when obviously my knees were non bionic and working haha .
this salmon at 30 # managed to win that derby along w a dynamite catch...
so I looked for another early July example finding many I decided to show one from last summer... (caught north of olcott this time) this fish was caught early July this year and what a beast ... I can’t express how lucky we are to have these incredible world class fishing opportunities! I am very thankful to all the fisheries researchers, survey crews and captains that invest so much time rallying for us ! ( we may not say it to ya, but I know I’m thankful for all your passion and work )

Happy holidays everyone,
We are looking forward to a very good new year , I plan on finishing up some remodeling aboard the “STALKER” and as always fresh ugly sticks to battle with...
We will Be putting together a montage of screaming reels and great catches from last season ( you may be in with those ;-) ) if not I’m blaming my continued phone mishaps ugh so if you have a good photo to post by all means do so ! If your plans are to rebook for specific date needs don’t hesitate to check in w Tammy so we may secure it for you.
interest has already peaked with some people booking for next years season as holiday gifts ( I thank them and look forward to providing a great day for them) we’ll be posting again soon
