Three years of chasing the same ole Tom, his days came to an end. Gary and i (Wyatt) heard the bird gobble at 5:15am, closed the gap by 5:30am, set up a decoy, called him off roost in our face. Ending our hunt at 5:50am. A 35 minute turkey hunt is something that doesn’t happen often!

Everyone has Turkeys on their mind but we are only a couple months out from big velvet bucks at KTD!

Spot and stalk on a Giant typical! We spotted him from the opposite ridge and went around getting downwind of him. He picked up on our scent after we got within 100 yards and stood up looking right at us. We had an opportunity and took it!
