VELO CLASS
I am taking 12 players for a VELO class, All positions are welcome and the class will be held at Forge Athletic this Jan and Feb. 5pm on Tues and Thurs.
We are finishing up our late fall session, and will be testing players this week. Stay tuned for results!
Starting in Jan we workout 2x a week, thru the end of Feb, and look for increases in velocity, strength and endurance. We will work on throwing mechanics, and make sure all players participating are heading into their seasons as strong as possible. Individual player needs can drive the program to help them make the changes they need, and improve in areas that will help them the most.
Past years have produced gains anywhere from 2mph to 7mph on average about 5 miles per hour increase. The programs purpose is to produce results and learn how to train. This is my 9th year running the velocity program.
Class always fills up every season and this year we are focusing on the strength component as much as we ever have before. Testing, video analysis and evaluation will all be part of helping players gain strength and performance.
