We have been very 'bassful' in the last two days! Thanks to my fishing buddy who wanted to fish this area and bam the water has above average sized bass!

I caught the fish with my favorite hard swimbait and we also caught plenty with different lures.

A fun fishing right after the storm! Thanks to our friend who invited us to hang w him on his pontoon. We fished at the lake and unfortunately not much of bites after the storm however I managed to catch two and plenty of chatting while cruising on the water!

It was a last minute plan, my kids and friends thought we needed a retreat for the day... We agreed to head out to Mined Land Wildlife Areas - AKA. Strip Pits.

Despite the heat! We managed to catch enough and had enough fun just for a day and unfortunately it's not enough but we definitely are coming back later!

Black and pink senkos were the clear winners and of course some topwater lures too!

We also saw this big brutus, it's insanely huge!

I can't say much but I'm proud of my son Beckett! My other son Wyattie was off to Indiana for volleyball camp and my Beckie wanted to fish so we challenged each other by selecting the lures we wanted.

But damn, he made a great choice and kept getting bites! We only fished for an hour or so.

He wanted to keep the bass so bad but he's not a seafood eater so he said he will keep it for me or Wyatt haha!

At the same time I got the chance to use this cordless fillet knife and wow! It worked so well! I only paid $20 for it while it is definitely comparable to bubba's $200 knife so I'm glad!

Beckett had a digital control reel and it sure is unique, but gives him much less backlash and no denying he got more fish than I did...

Unfortunately my phone died before I could take a picture of my son Beckett's catches.We sure had too much fun last nigh...

Unfortunately my phone died before I could take a picture of my son Beckett's catches.

We sure had too much fun last night w good friends. My buddy Mike who is actually back in Kansas for good. We went to his home and did a lot of catching up and some fishing. The kids had too much fun swimming and fishing. I caught 5 bass but dang! My youngest, Beckett was on fire! He caught 7!

I was surprised when fishing because when I casted around the quieter areas. Nothing... So I fished near where kids were wild on the floating deck and bam I keep catching large mouths! They sure aren't scared.






Oh, Beckett used a pink wacky rig branded by Scheels and it was a clear winner!

Happy 14th birthday to our Charlotte who were born in Milverton, Ontario, Canada.

She deserves all of the love and she has been the best to our family we have lost many of our fur babies but she is one of a kind. So happy birthday! Love you Charlotte!

We do have other awesome fur babies that adore Char. We are lucky for sure.
