Last post tonite.
I wasn’t gonna say anything but after the pretty decent day my lovely bonus kids had I’m putting it out there.

Few months ago I got a message basically telling me how bad my genetics were and how our lambs weren’t good enough. It made me feel pretty low on top of everything going on. With this person never being in my barn. For the people that came to our barn, understood what was happening in my personal life with my recent injuries, who came and helped when I needed it without a “well you know”, who took home lambs knowing they had potential even if I couldn’t physically put the work in. I appreciate YOU! I pretty sure if anyone looked at what we had today they knew that was far from the truth. Thank you to my people, thank you to my kids Meghan and Austin you are my why I do this like so many others I do my best to support as much as I can.

Some of my show kids have been at the McPeak Be A Champ Lamb camp this week and proud of all of them. Trenton year 2 and Gaige year 1. Both are young and have a bright future ahead of them showing livestock in a whole. These lambs might be green but come OYE there will be competition!

The barn has been busy and I couldn’t appreciate all my ag/bonus kids more than I have since I have been down. Kids clipping their lambs, our sheep, doing barn chores, and helping get the show barn done. When you push to be there for these kids and they return the love it’s what this whole thing is about!
