🏌️‍♂️ Well, the Oklahoma City FORE! Championship is officially in the books, and the sheer level of mediocrity on display was truly inspiring. 🏌️‍♂️

Let’s give a massive, financially responsible round of applause to our winner, Lee Pearce, who survived the grueling conditions to shoot an 82 and take home a life-changing $1.71. Drinks are on Lee tonight, everyone! (Tap water, but still). 🏆💧

Shoutout to Matthew Maynard for bagging the Gross Award.

A special moment of silence for Dustin Donathan, who earned the "Biggest Meltdown" award. We all saw what happened on the back nine, Dustin. We’re here if you need a hug. 📉😭

Congratulations to Richie Harvey for taking home the highly coveted "Most Mediocre" award. You aimed right for the middle of the pack, and buddy, you absolutely nailed it. A true inspiration to us all. 🤷‍♂️⛳️

In the "skills" department, Rolando Herrera somehow won Longest Drive (we’re just shocked it stayed in bounds), and Jonathan Eldridge managed to stumble his way to Closest to the Pin. 🎯🚀

And finally, a standing ovation for Donnie Gatewood, who secured the Key to the Red Tee with a spectacular 126. Enjoy the shorter walks next tournament, Donnie! 🔑🚶‍♂️

Alright, listen up.

First off, a massive thank you to everyone who has been showing up and participating so far this season. Against all odds, most of you are showing up on time, hitting somewhat recognizable golf shots, and keeping the dream alive. It’s been a great run so far, and the chapter is thriving despite our best collective efforts on the course.

**Important Update: Skins Game Moving to $10**

After multiple requests and endless chatter from people who apparently have way too much confidence in their golf game, **we are officially moving the Skins entry from $5 to $10 starting at our next event.**

For those keeping score, that means you now get to throw away an extra $5 bill every tournament for the illusion of glory! But hey, higher stakes mean a bigger pot for the two people in the chapter who actually know how to make a birdie.

**Payment Info: How to Send Us Your Money**

To make life easier for everyone (mostly me), you can pay electronically via **Cash App ($OKCMGA)** or, if you're truly mediocre and set in your ways, **Venmo ()**.

When sending payments, please make sure to include the following in the notes:

* **Your Full Name** (especially if your handle is something useless like ``).
* **Which tournament** you're paying for.
* **Skins inclusion:** If you want to include your $10 skins entry in the transfer, go right ahead—just explicitly state that in the notes so we know where your money is going. Don't worry, we always have enough cash on hand to hand out your winnings when you accidentally hole out.

🏆 The Oklahoma City Bratish Open Is Calling All Mediocre Golfers! 🏆
Forget the Green Jacket. Forget St. Andrews. It's time to play for the most questionable prize in sports history: The Claret J***s! The OKC Bratish Open is returning to bring a touch of the Old Course to Earlywine—or at least, we're going to play a course with grass, some bunkers, and call it a day. If you treat the sand trap like a second home, you’ll fit right in.
📅 When: Sunday, July 26, 2026 @ 11:00 AM
📍 Where: Earlywine Golf Course (North)
💰 Entry Fee: $60 (Playing for a massive $7.00 purse!)

I’m finally getting around to posting the results from our May 17th tournament at Lake Hefner—my bad for the delay, but we all know the drill!
