Survivor Tree ➡️ Race Day Survivor Tree

We’re still in awe of the crowd that joined us at the Sunrise Service this year! Beginning Race Day with a moment of reflection under the Survivor Tree is such a special tradition, and we were proud to share it with so many spectators and runners. ❤️

It is with great sadness that we share that 26-year Marathon medical volunteer James DeHaven has passed away after a short battle with cancer.

James was a part of the medical team since the beginning and has contributed significantly to the and our community. He was an integral part of bringing the Finish Line medical team, course medical, HAM operators, EMSA OKLAHOMA and volunteers together to develop an incredible medical logistics and operational plan. He also took great pride and care in getting medical supplies and equipment donated by EMSA, INTEGRIS Health and other partners.

We're sending well wishes to Memorial Marathon Ambassador Jenny Simpson! ❤️ Yesterday, Jenny suffered a medical emergency during a track and field event in North Carolina.

She's showing improvement but could use some love from our family! Please keep Jenny and her family in your thoughts. 🙏

Each year, local first responders participate in the in firefighter gear to pay tribute to those who rushed to the scene following the April 19, 1995, bombing. It’s a special tradition that makes Race Weekend even more impactful. ❤️
