Speedweek didn’t go quite the way we hoped, but honestly… we’re leaving with a lot more than just finishing positions.

After such a long time away from racing, we knew this week was going to be about knocking the rust off, learning, and figuring out what this car needed.

Qualifying was a challenge all three nights. We’re still not huge fans of combining hot laps with qualifying (or group qualifying), but we understand it keeps the show moving.

Friday night at I-44, Maddie was set to start P10 in the B Main, but we made the decision to scratch and save the car for Saturday’s race at Port City Raceway.

Saturday, she started P6 in her heat and finished P7. After looking things over, we found the culprit - a bad right rear shock. Racing has a funny way of humbling you. Sometimes you’re chasing setup, and sometimes a broken part has been fighting you the whole time.

The plan now is to send all four shocks to Midwest Suspension. One needs to be repaired, and we’re having all four dyno tested so we know they’re matched and performing exactly as they should before the next race.

While the results weren’t what we hoped for, this week wasn’t a loss. We learned a lot, found a problem that needed to be fixed, and, most importantly, got Maddie back behind the wheel after such a long break.

A huge thank you to Cade for all of the hard work you put in this week. Whether it was helping in the pits, loading and unloading, wrenching on the car, or doing whatever needed to be done, we truly couldn’t have raced without you. We appreciate you more than you know.

And thank you to everyone who has followed along, cheered her on, stopped by the trailer, and sent encouraging messages. Your support means the world to our family.

We’ll get the car sorted out, keep learning, and be back. 🏁❤️

Race Update! 🏁

Well… rookie mistake. 😅

Maddie didn’t realize that hot laps were also the qualifying laps tonight, so there wasn’t much time to settle in.

She started P9 in Heat 3 and worked her way up to P5, which puts the 14G starting P5 in the 2nd B-Main.

Now it gets exciting…

🚨 Top 3 transfer to the A-Main! 🚨

She’s got some work to do, but we’ve seen this team charge forward before. Time to dig deep and see what the 14G can do!

🏁 Race Day at I-44! 🏁

Night #2 of Sooner Speedweek is here, and Maddie is officially checked in and ready to go! 💪🔥

She’ll be racing in the 3rd Qualifier tonight.

⏰ Tonight’s schedule:
• Pit Meeting – 6:00 PM
• Hot Laps – 6:30 PM
• Racing immediately after!

The Oklahoma heat is no joke, but the team is ready to get after it. Here’s hoping for smooth laps, smart decisions, and a fast race car. Let’s put that 14G up front!

P.S. The temporary vinyl is holding us over until we can get the car wrapped. Scheduling has been the biggest challenge, but the full wrap is still coming!

The trailer is loaded, the race car is strapped down, and tonight we're headed to Port City Raceway for a much-needed shakedown before Oklahoma Speed Week.

It's been a little while since the has hit the track, so tonight is all about knocking the rust off, making sure everything is dialed in, and reminding ourselves what 600cc horsepower feels like.

No points. No pressure. Just dirt, speed, and getting back into race mode.

Next stop: Oklahoma Speed Week.

SHE’S ALIVE!!! 🔥🏁

Cale sent us the official proof-of-life video today, and hearing that motor fire up again was music to our ears!

After what feels like forever chasing gremlins, fixing issues, replacing parts, and waiting on answers, the 14G is making noise again. We pick her up on Wednesday, and if everything goes according to plan, we’ll be headed to Port City this weekend for a shake-down run.

No promises that everything will be perfect right out of the gate (because race cars love to keep us humble 😆), but we’re excited to finally get back to the track.

We’ve confirmed that race teams cannot survive without caffeine. 😂☕🏁

This video is painfully accurate. One missed energy drink and we go from “ready for hot laps” to laid out on the ground questioning every life choice. ☠️

A long overdue update on the 14G machine! 🏁🔥

Our motor builder, Cale at Elite Engine Development, currently has the car at his shop working through the injection system updates. We’re just waiting on the arrival of a few hoses to wrap up the install and get everything buttoned up.

We’re hopeful to have Maddie back on the track THIS month! 🙌

The car still needs its fresh wrap, and Maddie’s Hinchman suit is still in progress due to a shortage of seamstresses. It honestly feels like everything has moved slower than expected this year. But maybe this season was never meant to be rushed. ❤️

At this point, the engine gremlins decided they wanted priority treatment first. 😅 Once she’s mechanically ready, Tyler LaPointe is all set to make the 14G look as fast as it’s going to run.

“God’s timing. Not mine.” has become the theme of this season. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the work - it’s the waiting.

We seriously can’t wait to get back to the track and hear that engine fire up again. Thank you to everyone who’s checked in, supported Maddie, and continued cheering on the 14G team while we worked through the behind-the-scenes stuff. ♥🏁

Today’s news hits especially hard for the racing community. 💔

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Kyle Busch. Over the years at the micro sprint tracks, we loved watching the moments that mattered most - Kyle being a proud dad, supporting his kids, and simply being part of the racing family alongside everyone else.

Racing is so much bigger than laps and trophies. It’s the people, the families, the pits, the late nights, and the memories made at the track.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone grieving this tremendous loss. 🏁

We're saddened to report that two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch passed away Thursday after being hospitalized with a severe illness.
