This is a PSA on Hahn Appliance Warehouse.
Purchased a GE Profile refrigerator from them
in December,2023. Having a problem with the automatic water pitcher inside the refrigerator. The float sticks and the water doesn't shut off and runs all over my kitchen floor. We have luckily realized it before any damage was done to the floor. Seeing as it under warranty I called Hahn for a service call was told that they don't provide any service on the appliances they sell. They just sell them and then after that it is not their problem. Needless to say I was a bit upset. We were never told this when we purchased the refrigerator because if we had been told we would never have bought it from them. We bought the refrigerator on a Sunday and Harry's was not open. Our first mistake.
We have always purchased our appliances from Harry's Appliances because they do service what they sell and like an idiot I assumed all appliance companies service what they sell. Was I wrong.
I have learned a lesson the hard way. I did call GE and a service man is coming out tomorrow and they were very pleasant to deal with. All Hahn did to help me was give me the service phone number.
ONLY buy your appliances from a company that services what they sell.
Hopefully that is my only rant for the day.
