No heavy weights today, just some core work! ⁣

I noticed that by lower back has been hurting lately.. instead of blaming it on deadlifts or whatever was on the program I realized maybe I’ve been neglecting my core. (I mean it’s pretty fun to lift heavy s**t.. not as much fun to hold a plank). There are MANY reasons why we struggle with back pain, but I would say one of the most common reasons is a weak core. I don’t care how heavy you can lift bro, if you don’t train your core it WILL catch up with you! ⁣

Here are a couple fun exercises you can incorporate in your training.. This morning we did 100 reps of each but feel free to adjust to your program!

Made it a goal this year to try new/different types of training and I definitely think this will be a permanent addition! Boxing is so fun and actually a really effective cardio workout! Thanks to for teaching my uncoordinated ass how to throw these hands 😂👊🏻⁣

Looking like it’s supposed to be a beautiful weekend! If you’re needing an excuse to get out here you go.. All you need for this total body workout is a park bench and a set of dumbbells. (Jump rope can be replaced with jumping jacks or mountain climbers) Finish with a 20min jog or walk and you’re all set. Doesn’t always have to be crazy intense, just get moving and have fun!
