Have you had your metabolism tested lately? One of my favorite things about working .life is our science-based training. Everyone's body is different, and therefore everyone should be training according to their own metabolism. Following a cookie-cutter program might get you results, but following heart-rate based training will get you better results even faster! .
Did you know that your metabolism changes? The only way to stay up-to-date on your training program is to continue to reassess your metabolic tests. Last week I did my Active Metabolic Reassessment (yes, I did the test on myself - it was pretty cool). Now my metabolic conditioning program is updated according to how my body is working RIGHT NOW. .
So what information does the test give you?
▪️Heart Rate training zones: working in different zones will have different effects on your body
▪️Fat Burn vs. Carb Burn in each zone: you'll know exactly how many total calories you burn in each heart rate zone and what percentage of that burn is actually fat burn
▪️VO2 Score: this tells you how effectively your body is utilizing oxygen when you workout. It's kind of like an overall fitness score
▪️Metabolic Warm-up: a personalized warm-up to help you minimize injury and maximize fat burn during your workout
