𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲

Will Gable began studying aikido in 1979 under Sensei Carl Walden and later trained at Windsong with Sensei Chuck Caldwell. He holds the rank of 9th dan in aikido and 6th dan in Shindo Muso Ryu jodo, and has been teaching at his own dojo since 1990.

At this year’s Fall Clinic, Will will teach 𝘙𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘪 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺, exploring how principles like centering, connection, kuzushi, structure, and non-resistance can help simplify randori. The session focuses on doing only what’s necessary to disrupt balance, reduce unnecessary effort, and stay responsive as movement becomes more unpredictable.
