🔥 MEET THE CONTENDERS: THE KEEPER OF THE FORGE 🔥

Hey everyone, and welcome to Meet the Contenders.

Over the next few weeks, you’re going to get to know the people who stepped into the Forge. You’ll hear their stories, their challenges, their progress, and what this experience has meant to them.

I’m Cheree, the Keeper of the Forge.

My job is to keep the fire going, guide the Contenders, and protect the purpose of the Forge.

But I’m not standing outside of this challenge watching everyone else do the work.

I’m a Contender too.

So I’ll be answering the same four questions I’m asking the other Contenders:

1. Why did you join the Forge, and what were you hoping to get out of it?

2. What has been your biggest challenge so far, and how has your progress been?

3. What has the Forge taught you about yourself, and what are you most proud of?

And finally…

4. What are you looking forward to most when the Forge is over?

There are no right answers. I want the real stories. The good, the hard, the unexpected, and everything in between.

This week, our contenders are challenged to get intentional about what’s on their plate.

The mission:
✅ Prioritize protein
✅ Stay on top of hydration
✅ Choose whole, nutrient-dense foods
✅ Be mindful of portions and food choices
✅ Stay consistent with your nutrition throughout the week

No crash diets. No starving. No perfection.

Just 7 days of making better choices and staying accountable.

AUGUST. THAT’S A WRAP. 🔥

What a month at The Weight Room 24.

We celebrated birthdays.
We celebrated members.
We celebrated consistency.

We watched 15 contenders continue their journey through the Forge.

We lifted. We sweated. We challenged ourselves. We pushed past excuses. We showed up on the days we wanted to and, more importantly, on the days we didn’t.

We crowned our August Member of the Month, celebrated another trip around the sun with our August birthdays, laughed with our people, and made plenty of memories along the way.

And somewhere between all those check-ins, workouts, challenges, conversations and crazy Oklahoma summer days…

we kept building this thing together.

The Weight Room 24 isn’t just about what happens when you pick up a barbell.

It’s about the people standing beside you while you do it.

So here’s to August. 🥂

To the ones who showed up.
To the ones who kept going.
To the ones who started something new.
To the ones who aren’t where they want to be yet but refuse to quit.

September, we’re coming for you.

🔥 THE FORGE | WEEK 7 🔥

Seven weeks down, and we’re turning up the CARDIO COMMITMENT! ❤️‍🔥

This week’s mission is simple:

🏃 UP YOUR CARDIO MINUTES.

Find a way to intentionally add more cardio to your week. Walk. Run. Bike. Row. Climb. Take a class. Whatever gets you moving, move more.

But here’s the important part…

We’re not starting over every Monday.

We’re STACKING.

👟 8,000–10,000 steps
💧 Hydration
💪 Strength
🥩 Protein
🌳 Outdoor movement
❤️‍🔥 And now, more cardio

Each week adds another healthy habit to the foundation we’re building.

There isn’t a weekly prize attached to this one. Week 7 is about the habit itself. It’s about challenging yourself to do a little more and proving to yourself that you can.
