Ma’am… respectfully… if it were that easy, every guy in the gym would look like a Marvel character by Tuesday.

I’ve trained people for 20+ years. Not once—NOT ONCE—have I accidentally turned a woman into the Hulk because she picked up some dumbbells.

Getting ā€œbulkyā€ doesn’t just happen. That’s a full-time job:
• Specific nutrition (a LOT of it)
• Intentional heavy training
• Years of consistency
• And often… extra ā€œhelpā€

Meanwhile, what lifting actually does:

Trust me… if building muscle that fast was real, I’d be built like a superhero by now instead of still chasing it

Normalize talking hormones, menopause, postpartum. It doesn’t make you less of a human. Same with guy lbs about their testosterone levels. It’s normal. So it’s ignorant to pretend like they aren’t a thing so stop so you can treat it instead of staying miserable

Ever notice how the soreness hits hardest 1-2 days after a workout... not right after?
That’s because it’s usually not lactic acid.
It’s called DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) - tiny muscle fiber stress + inflammation from challenging your body in a new way.

I was constantly trying to to fit in naps on days I’d be up for work at 4a and try to be ā€œONā€ til 7p
