MEET our next teacher, the phenomenal
⚡️JOSH 'YISSIR' OKPARA ⚡ is a hip-hop choreographer, creative director, performer, and dance educator with extensive experience in street and club styles including house, popping, locking, and breakdancing. His career has included choreographing for music artists and numerous productions for Race Dance Company, competing in World of Dance, auditioning for America’s Best Dance Crew, touring throughout Europe, and performing at SXSW.

Passionate about arts education and mentorship, Josh has also served as a teaching artist for youth programs and summer camps at Oklahoma Contemporary, using dance to help students build confidence, creativity, and self-expression while continuing to inspire the next generation of dancers throughout Oklahoma and beyond.

Welcome to 8Count Studio ✨

MEET our next teacher, the incredible 💫Justina Pagán is a dance artist and instructor based in Oklahoma City. She is currently working towards completing a BFA in Dance Performance along with a minor in business administration. Now in her senior year, she is a 3rd year member and 2nd year student rehearsal director for the award winning dance company; Kaleidoscope Dance Company. While attending UCO, she has had the opportunity to work closely with artists such as Mike Esperanza, Terrill Mitchell, and Taryn Vander Hoop as well as perform internationally in Berlin, Germany. She hopes to pursue more opportunities in live performance after graduation.
