One of our most interesting lining jobs was for a subsurface potable water storage reservoir in Costa Rica to supply potable water to an "off-grid" glamping resort... Power for the resort was supplied by a solar panel array...rainwater was collected from the solar panels and channeled through a filtering, and UV light, system before flowing into the subsurface storage vessel. We lined the storage tank to contain the potable water and eliminate ground water infiltration...

Ground water could not be utilized due to the local aquafers flowed through volcanic rock and contained arsenic...

It was a very interesting and rewarding project!

Of course, I was required to go along for supervision....

We are finishing up a lining job on a 4 acre golf course lake in Oklahoma. As you can see the water looks red but it’s actually clear and the red is coming from the red dirt that has settled to the bottom. Anyone have any ideas how to help get the bottom darker?

Several years ago, BlueWater had the opportunity to install geomembrane liner systems for aquaculture pools inside a massive 25-acre greenhouse facility.

One early winter morning, the combination of snow on the ground, low clouds overhead, and the glow from the greenhouse grow lights created an unforgettable scene. The light reflecting off the snow and clouds was both beautiful and almost eerie — one of those moments that reminds you how unique some of our projects truly are.

Projects like this are a great reminder that our work takes us to some pretty incredible places.
