Been checking the registration numbers...a little bit disappointing a month out... y'all need to sign up NOW!...this is an "all inclusive" regatta... apparently Hobie 20 class rules even allow you to race with 3 midgets if you've gotta make weight...who knew Marc Bachman was a triplet?...

Hobie 20 sailors! Come and enjoy our air-conditioned Yacht Club located within Oklahoma City on beautiful Lake Hefner. There are plenty of restaurants, hotels, and shopping to enjoy nearby. If you’re a golf Lake Hefner has two 18-hole courses across the lake from the regatta site.

This is the "Weighmaster From Hell" checking in again...not too sure how many of you Philistines are au courant with the ancient Roman procedure of "decimation"...it was a disciplinary procedure where in times of dissent or treasonous behaviour amongst the troops, whereby every tenth soldier was pulled from the cohorts and executed by his colleagues...due to a lack of folks volunteering to assist with the grunt work of weighing in boats I find myself, albeit reluctantly, having to resort to desperate measures...as such I will be going through the list of registrants and requiring every tenth skipper to either spend two hours at a time of my choosing to assist at the weigh-in booth over Saturday/Sunday prior to the championship s... alternatively, again in the manner of Roman times, they may substitute their slave/crew to fulfil their obligations...the chosen victims will be hearing from me...

Day 2 NAC - spent a couple hours in the water chasing wind and now we sit under AP just off the shore waiting.
