One of the Belgian officers (SF Military K9 officer) that we had the honor of training this past January, (during the 2026 Belgium law enforcement visit) was on a recent mission in the Middle East conducting a HALO jump along with with his K9. His main chute failed to deploy after struggling and tumbling for sometime he was finally able to deploy his emergency chute at low altitude. His injuries are relatively serious, due to him protecting his K9 with his own body during impact. The K9 suffered no injuries. Another Precision Rifle Level 3 comes to an end. What a class. Every one of the students achieving the one Mile hit. Most doing so with calibers that were never intended to shoot that far. Weather was great. The Arena facility was fantastic, the staff were extremely hospitable and considerate. To much fun, laughter, camaraderie, good natured ribbing and joking to mention. For all that attended thank you for being there and making the experience so enjoyable. To all the FFT team, Megan, Enzo, Josh. Mike. Brian and Bob that attended and assisted...thank you. You all make this thing we call "FFT" the coolest place to work and be. Here are a few photos of the 2 days.

Precision Rifle Level 3. Day two.

True story.....About 1992 I sent my g***k 17 gen 1 back to G***k USA as it was not able to hold a group anymore. I asked them to look at the gun and let me know what was wrong with it. They told me that I had literally warn out the barrel, as well as a few other parts. They believed this gun had well over 100,000 rounds through it at that time. As an active competitive shooter and instructor at the time, I agreed that was about right. They asked if they could keep the gun as a reference pistol for wear, etc. In return, they would send me a nice new gen 2. I said "of course" what a great deal! I used the new gen 2 for the next 34 years, for training, competitions, and as a loaner to students, with God only knows how many rounds fired through it. Some of you may have known her as Old Ugly. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. That gun was shooting high and left, no matter what I did, so I had my good friends at Palm Beach Shooting Center send it off to G***k to inspect it. Well, guess what? It turns out I had managed to crack the slide with all that use and time....Now the good part! G***k kept that old warn out gen 2 and sent me back a completely refurbished gen 3! Yep that first G***k I purchased back in 1989 has been replaced free of charge, every time I have warn it out. I have been a G***k guy for over 30 years with good reason. They work, the company stands behind the product.....no questions. Thank you G***K! I will continue to carry, shoot and wave the G***k banner. Keep up the good work. Help us name the newest member of our family... she ain't no "Old Ugly".....ideas ??
