Operational Update

The Loup is closed for the season.

We want to start this post by saying thank you to all of you. Thanks for the stoke and support each of you has lent to the Loup through one of its toughest seasons.

In every condition and every day we were open, this community showed up for us. From a -14 opening day to weathering an unseasonable rain storm, (in January alone) you guys have been there supporting and cheering us on. So thank you.

An immense thank you goes out to our staff as well who made this season possible. Without their expertise, adaptability and patience, we would have seen even less operational days. They packed, rolled and worked every inch of snow, and remained flexible to conditions and last minute additions to our operations. Thank you thank you thank you.

Stay tuned as we make the shift to spring, we’ve got news on the horizon and a likely La Niña cycle to look forward to!

March 6, 2024: we just got the word that the Loup WILL be operating this Saturday and Sunday, March 9 & 10! We will have Private and Semi-Private ski and snowboard instructors available for lessons. Go to https://www.facebook.com/LoupLessons/ to review the details. Please submit Lesson Request forms for each student. If the dates that you want to book are not visible on the menu, just write what you're looking for in the Notes section. Or, on the day of the lesson you can call 509.557.3404 to see what time slots are still available. But it is very helpful to our staff if you submit the online requests in advance. Making holiday plans? We have holidays hours annnnndddd some big news! We'll be open Saturday-Tuesday (17th-20th) this weekend so you can maximize on fun at the Loup.

Our big news?! Monday and Tuesday (19th-20th) will be the first trial run of our Kids Ski Free program that we'll be rolling out in earnest next season. On Monday and Tuesday, kids 12 and under will get a free lift ticket with the purchase of a parent’s or guardian’s lift ticket (or season pass). Don't forget, we also offer a 15% discount to locals all operational days as well. So bring the whole family up and enjoy some fun on the slopes!

Operational Update 🚨

Good news! 🥳 We are so happy to announce that the snow we've received the last couple days is enough to return to our Saturday and Sunday operations this week! Early seasons conditions will exist, please ride accordingly.

We request that you remain patient and not ski uphill at the Loup prior to our opening. Our groomers will be out and working, and the pack needs as much time to set as possible after they've worked their magic.✨️

Thanks for weathering the storm with us! We appreciate the support and look forward to seeing you up at the Loup soon.

As soon as we have established our opening day, you will be able to request Private, Group and First Timer lessons. Stay tuned!

We are currently accepting Lesson Requests for Wolf Pack and Mommy/Daddy & Me only. The rest of our lesson options will open when the Hill does. Do your snow dances!

All WolfPack Lessons scheduled for January 23 will go out at 10am on Saturday!

While the chairlift will not be running due to hazard trees that are being removed, SnowSports School will set up gates on the lower mountain and give a good technical workout on the racecourse for those students who normally ride the chair. Lessons will not be rescheduled so be sure to come up for this fun day!
