THREE WEEKS til the PIRTEK Diamond Sprint Car Series takes on Gondik Law Speedway ( Aug. 7 ) & ABC Raceway ( Aug. 8 )!

The winged division teams in the Diamond Sprint Car Series will be rolling into the Northwoods area of northwest Wisconsin three weeks from today, and attached are the event flyers for both events. Each night the traditional (non-winged) Renegades sprint cars will also be competing in a complete racing program.

A pre-race FanFest will also take place, and we would like all sprint car teams that are planning on coming to the events to notify the Series by Monday of race week if they plan to attend. Drivers that do not notify the series of their attendance will pay a $25 draw fee on race day.

Gondik Law Speedway is located at 4700 Tower Ave, Superior, WI 54880. You can visit them online at www.gondiklawspeedway.com .

In what has become a wild and unpredictable weather season on multiple levels, the weather-delayed events from May at both Hibbing Speedway and Grand Rapids Speedway have now been removed from the Diamond Sprint Car Series schedule by the tracks. But the Gondik and ABC events remain, as scheduled.

Please make plans to join us at these two great racing facilities on Friday August 7th (Gondik Law Speedway) and Saturday August 8th (ABC Raceway) when the winged division teams of the Diamond Sprint Car Series and the Renegades traditional sprint cars roll into town!

To KRA Speedway and it's awesome fans: The Diamond Sprint Car Series was super pumped up for last night's event there, and just when it looked as we were going to escape any weather drama, all of the sudden at about 6pm a cell formed to what appeared to be approximately 3 hours away to the west-southwest.

So we made a plan to go into 'hurry up' mode so we could attempt to get in the complete show.

What we wanted to do, on the other hand, was to give you all a relaxing full night of entertainment.

But when mother nature decides to intervene, we have to curb corners and keep things motoring along.

And we did just that. In a frenetic pace only to be compared to the drive-in line at In-N-Out Burger, series and track officials blasted through the show as efficiently as possible.

Although we weren't able to get the winged portion in, the traditional feature ran at literally a break-neck pace...and their feature ran in under 5 minutes flat!

In summary, we want to THANK each and every one of you that supported this event, and we look forward to coming back next time when none of us are rushed and we can all have an enjoyable night at the races.

We already notified mother nature that her 'attendance' at the next event is not needed.

Thanks again and hope to see you all again soon!

🏁 PIRTEK Diamond Sprint Car Series Recap | KRA Speedway – Willmar, MN 🏁

The PIRTEK Diamond Sprint Car Series rolled into KRA Speedway on Thursday night for an action-packed evening featuring both Traditional and Winged Sprint Cars. Drivers put on a great show through the heat races before the Traditional Sprint Cars capped off their night with an exciting feature event.

Traditional Sprint Car Heat Races
Heat Race #1 belonged to Edison Aldrich after leading the field to the checkered flag, with Cam Schafer and Ken Hron rounding out the top three.

In Heat Race #2, Scott Brandt picked up the win over Dan Atchison, while Bryan Roach completed the podium.

Winged Sprint Car Heat Races
The Winged Sprint Cars kicked off their night with Owen Carlson driving from second to first to capture the Heat 1 victory. Owen Graf finished second, followed by Chase Viebrock in third.

Heat Race #2 saw Jack Berger take the checkered flag, ahead of Jeremy Schultz who finished second and Brandon Allen in third.

🏁 Traditional Sprint Car Feature
The 15-lap Traditional Sprint Car feature delivered plenty of excitement as Cam Schafer powered from his second-place starting spot to score the feature victory. Heat race winner Edison Aldrich crossed the line second, while Glen Saville put together the drive of the night, charging from sixth to finish third.

Feature Results:
🥇 Cam Schafer (97)
🥈 Edison Aldrich (76)
🥉 Glen Saville (75)
4️⃣ Ken Hron (46H)
5️⃣ Dan Atchison (7X)

💚 Mother Nature Wins the Finale
Unfortunately, just as the Winged Sprint Cars were preparing for their feature event, heavy rain moved into the Willmar area. The feature was ultimately canceled, meaning Mother Nature took the checkered flag before the Winged Sprint Cars had the opportunity to battle for the night’s biggest prize.

Thank you to all of the drivers, teams, sponsors, staff, and fans for another great night of racing. We’ll see everyone at the next stop TONIGHT on the PIRTEK Diamond Sprint Car Series at Viking Speedway! 🏁
