Apparently, it’s kind of chic to build your foundation. 😉

And honestly… we’re here for it.

It’s chic to lift.
It’s chic to breathe.
It’s chic to rest.
It’s chic to get sweaty.
It’s chic to modify.
It’s chic to take up space.
It’s chic to prioritize your health.
It’s chic to be strong.
And yes… it’s chic to do all of this while your toddler is probably climbing on you. 😂

Fitness doesn’t have to look perfect to be effective.

Especially in motherhood.

Your body isn’t a problem to fix. It’s a body to understand, support, strengthen, and move in.

That’s what Women In Motion is all about. 🤍

Save this for the reminder. Share it with your kind of chic. 🫶🏼

Find your people. Find your tribe. 🤍

The ones who wake up at 4 AM to lift with you.
The ones who cheer you on through the hard reps.
The ones who remind you that you’re stronger than you think.
The ones who say “one more” when you’re ready to give up.

Because sometimes we don’t need more motivation—we just need someone beside us reminding us why we started.

And that’s what I want Women In Motion to be for you. 🫶🏼

Your tribe.
Your motivator.
Your encourager.
Your accountability.
Your “keep going, you’ve got this.”

Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, or simply trying to feel stronger and more confident in your body…

Let me be in your corner.

Let Women In Motion help you build your strength from the inside out, move with confidence, and become the strong woman you were made to be. 💪🏼✨

You don’t have to do this alone.

Come find your tribe. We’re moving together. 🤍

P.S. Huge shout out to Courtney Higley for always keeping me accountable and pushing me to the last rep! 💕

Motherhood is messy. Your workouts can be too. 🤍

Sometimes the laundry needs folding. The kids need you. The house is a disaster. And the “perfect” 60-minute workout just isn’t happening.

So… fold the laundry. Do a few exercises. Repeat. 😂

5 exercises + laundry breaks:
✨ Deadbug
✨ Bird dog row
✨ Side lunge → clean
✨ Squat → press
✨ Single-leg snap downs

Because some movement is better than no movement.
It’s not about doing more—it’s about making what you can do count.

Quality > quantity.
Consistency > perfection.
And taking care of your body doesn’t have to look perfect to be valuable.

You don’t have to wait for life to calm down to get stronger. You can build strength right in the chaos. 💪🏼

🍑 Your glutes are about more than growing your booty… they’re a key player in supporting your back, core, and pelvis.

If you’ve been dealing with nagging low back pain, don’t overlook your hips.

Research has found that people with low back pain often have:
✨ Reduced glute strength
✨ Altered glute activation
✨ Poor pelvic stability

When your glutes aren’t contributing effectively, your body may compensate by relying more on the muscles of the low back. Over time, this can increase strain and contribute to discomfort.

That’s why glute training isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about building a stronger foundation for movement.

Some of my favorite exercises to improve glute activation and endurance are:
🍑 Side-lying clam holds
🍑 Side-lying hip abduction holds
🍑 Quadruped fire hydrant holds

These exercises target the gluteus medius and gluteus maximus while also challenging your ability to maintain pelvic and trunk stability. They’re especially valuable during pregnancy, postpartum, and for anyone looking to improve movement quality before progressing to heavier lifting.

✨ Remember: glute strengthening isn’t a magic fix for back pain. Low back pain is often influenced by multiple factors, including mobility, movement patterns, stress, sleep, previous injuries, and overall strength. But improving glute function can be an important piece of a comprehensive plan.

Think of your body as a team. Your glutes, deep core, pelvic floor, diaphragm, and hips all work together to create stability, manage pressure, and help you move efficiently. When one player isn’t doing its job, the others often have to compensate.

💬 Have you ever noticed your back feels better after consistently training your glutes? I’d love to hear your experience in the comments!
