Back in Iceland — this time on an e-bike.

Eight years after my first trip, I returned to see how the island’s bike scene has evolved — and if the magic was still there. From the growing trail network around Icebike Adventures in Hveragerði to the raw beauty of Múlagljúfur Canyon, the riding feels more refined — but no less wild.

We climbed Reykjadalur, soaked in hot rivers, rode through wind and sideways rain, and found grip where we didn’t expect it. In the Highlands around Landmannalaugar and Þórsmörk, with views toward Eyjafjallajökull, it became clear: Iceland has grown as a bike destination — but the raw, unpredictable nature is still what makes it special.

And yeah… we’ll be back.
