Mount Ogden Via Ferrata in Waterfall Canyon

Mount Ogden Via Ferrata in Waterfall Canyon If you can climb a ladder, you can climb the Mount Ogden Via Ferrata! You're always attached to the safety cable. No ropes or knots required. Short on time?

Via Ferrata (Italian for "iron road") is a mountain-climbing method that lets less experienced climbers enjoy the adrenaline rush and scenery usually reserved for elite climbers. Conceived during World War I, via ferrata allowed Italian soldiers from the flatlands to move quickly through the mountains as they fought the Austrians for higher ground. Today there are over 500 via ferrata climbing rou

tes in Europe, enjoyed by locals and tourists alike, ages 8 to 80. The "iron road" is now available in Utah with the Mount Ogden Via Ferrata. Plan on a four to six hour excursion. Your guide will provide you with all via ferrata equipment, an outdoor class, a 30 foot training wall exercise and a via ferrata climb on one of three meandering routes ascending approximately 350 vertical feet. 3 person minimum group size. Email [email protected] or call 801 550 1761 for a price quote and to reserve your preferred climbing date. Concerned you won't like via ferrata? Are you a flatlander and afraid of heights? Try a 90 minute outdoor class and 30 foot via ferrata training wall exercise. Guide and all equipment included. 10 person minimum group size. Graduates of the class and training wall exercise are pre-approved for the guided via ferrata climbing on the big routes further up Waterfall Canyon near the falls. Are you the leader of a non-profit group? You may be eligible for reduced rates. Refunds: 100% if you cancel 21 or more days in advance, 50% if you cancel 14-20 days in advance.
