Ogden Bicycle Collective The Bicycle Collective is a group of nonprofit bike shops that refurbish donated bicycles and put them into the hands of those in need.

We also sell refurbished bikes and used bike parts, as well as offering DIY bike repair, and volunteer programs. The mission of the Bicycle Collective is to promote cycling as an effective and sustainable form of transportation and as a cornerstone of a cleaner, healthier, and safer society. The Collective provides refurbished bicycles and educational programs to the community, focusing on childre

n and lower income households.In order to support our charitable services, we operate a fully functional bike shop that is open to the public. We carry a selection of previously owned, fully refurbished bikes that are ready to ride out the door and available at exceptionally reasonable prices, as well as a full selection of replacement parts from tires, tubes and cables to brakes, wheels, and even frames!For those who already have bikes in need of a little TLC, we have just the cure: our fully functioning bike repair shop is open to the public. We specialize in repair education--we teach you how to repair and maintain your own bike. From flat tires to full overhauls, our professionally trained mechanics will walk you through the step-by-step procedures of how to get your ride rolling smoothly once more.Want to get involved? This week we had the joy of getting bicycles into the hands of this awesome family! We’re grateful to be part of making it a little easier for people to get where they’re going, explore, play, and enjoy the freedom of riding together.

Ogden friends— we need your help! This rain is reminding us of a problem we’ve been dealing with for a while: our roof leaks. Sometimes a lot. We came in this morning to puddles in the shop floor and a very soggy office!
We’re looking for a reputable roofing contractor who can assess the roof and help us figure out the best way to fix the leaks. If you know a roofer you trust who’d like to help a community nonprofit keep bikes, tools, and people dry, we’d especially love to hear from you.

We’ve been having a lot of fun getting back out into the community lately, and one of the events we attended was Helmets and Heroes!

It was a fun morning focused on bike safety, where kids learned safe riding skills before heading out on a short ride. We were there with our repair stand and toolbox to make sure bikes were ready to roll by helping with quick safety checks and adjustments.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to the organizers for putting together such a great event. We love being part of opportunities that help people ride safely and confidently.

Keep an eye out— we’ve been attending more community events lately and look forward to seeing you at the next ones!

Meet the crew: Nate! You’ll often see Nate in at his work bench in the back of our shop, or helping someone find the right part to repair their bike.

Nate loves to travel, and his favorite place to ride is around Bentonville, Arkansas— an area with an incredible trail system!

His favorite part about working here is that he gets to work on bikes, and it’s for a good cause.
