Our Bakcou JOAD member Hayden Ivester won top honor as the overall JROTC Nationals Individual Champion!

The Utah Military Academy won first place in the 3D competition. The school had 3 of the top ten out of 464 archers.
UMA also took 2nd place in the bullseye portion.

Overall UMA earned the top combined score for 3D and bullseye!

.douglas1 🏆 Redding Champion 2026 🏆

Man this one feels good!! I’ve been chasing a Redding title for a long time and I was finally able to seal the deal this weekend. Redding was the last tournament on my list of events that I’ve always wanted to win that I had yet to check off. All the stars aligned and I was able to tie the course record at 1 down and come home with the win. There are some wins that mean more to me than others and this one will always be special.

On top of the individual .holmesiii.3 and I cleaned the team round and finished up as the 2nd place team after the shootoff. We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs at this event over the years and I can’t thank him enough for his friendship and support.
