🏆 NFAA Shooter of the Year 🏆

It’s been an incredible season, and winning Shooter of the Year is the cherry on top. It’s pretty wild to look back on this season and everything I was able to accomplish. Definitely my best season yet.

These tournaments are so hard to win nowadays. It’s tough enough just to win a single one. Every time I win, I feel like I somehow just pulled off the impossible, and I’m still not sure how I did it. Then the next event rolls around, and I have to find a way to do it all over again.

To be able to pull it off as many times as I did this year is a pretty incredible feeling. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity and all the people who have helped me along the way.

Now it’s time to take a break from the target bow for a while and hit the mountains. Sweet September is here, and I’m ready to soak up every bit of it.

🥉 Outdoor Target Nationals 2026 🥉

I shot my bow really well for the majority of the tournament but unfortunately had things go south on just a couple ends on Saturday. It cost me a few points and that was enough to take me out of it. I was able to make my way back into 3rd on Sunday but on the 900 round the target is just simply too big for there to be enough swing in the scores to make a run for the lead.

🏆 Dakota Classic 2026 🏆

Sometimes the wins come easy and sometimes you have to work as hard as possible for every single arrow. This tournament was one of the latter.

I’m still not sure how I went from shooting as bad as I was warming up to shooting one of my best matches ever to win. All I can say is it’s never over until it’s over and give every arrow 100% effort no matter what.
