Ya know when you have one of those runs that you just can’t believe that you’re where you are? Like it’s unbelievable to be in that moment? Like seriously everywhere you look there’s beauty and danger and sunshine and blue skies and your heart just wants to explode cuz it’s just so damn cool?
Last night was one of those. I just couldn’t wipe the dumb grin off my face.
As the sun started going down and lost its grip on the ridge lines that I’ve ran so many times. A ridgeline that I worked my ass of to put on a 100 mile race so I could share it with the world. A ridgeline that I can’t ever get enough of!
Regardless of whether I’m with people or lone wolf…I so appreciate the amazing place we live.
Even though .paul was having a really bad day, he still said it was amazing. He even admitted that vert is cool and he wants to do it all the time now. 😁
I’m glad that Benny is back for the summer…even though I made it to see him in February…this one was a lot more enjoyable…and we didn’t see a single snake. Only a couple moosies. 🫎
