Congrats to our OHS Golfers on punishing their ticket to state! Huge shout out to Rylan on his district championship!

The OHS Boys Golf team is headed to STATE after capturing the District Championship today at Crandall Creek! Battling through wet and rainy conditions, the Indians stayed focused and put together an incredible team performance, finishing with a team score of 330 and punching their ticket to the state tournament.

Leading the way was District Champion Rylan Gilmore, who fired an impressive 76 to earn the top individual finish of the day! What a performance by Rylan and the entire squad!

This year, OPSD introduced an OG Fan Attendance Tracker to celebrate the incredible support shown at our activities and events all year long. A huge congratulations to Carla Flansburg, our 2025-2026 OG Nation Top Fan, for attending an incredible 38 unique OG events this year! Your dedication, school spirit, and unwavering support of our students and programs did not go unnoticed.

Congratulations to the Athletic Booster Club’s 2026 Phyllis George award winner, Harry Lipsiea. This award is given to the Outstanding Booster Club Supporter of the year and this year we had the privilege to honor another one of the best!

No matter the season or sport, Harry is always there capturing memorable moments, celebrating our athletes and coaches and showcasing the spirit of Ogallala High School Athletics. He has the amazing ability to shine a light on every student athlete - not just those at the top of the stat column. His positive presence and passion can sometimes even be seen on the sidelines, encouraging our athletes to be there very best.

Harry truly embodies the spirit of dedication, support and Ogallala pride. His contributions are deeply appreciated and we could not be more proud to honor him with this award.
