💃🕺 Square Dancing is happening at the WWC! 🕺💃

We’re moving forward with hosting Square Dancing with the Stardusters on Tuesday evenings starting June 30th from 6:00–8:00 PM!

📅 Dates:
• June 30
• July 7
• July 14

💲 Cost: $10 per person, per week

We’re starting with these first 3 weeks to test the waters and gauge community interest. If we have strong participation, we’ll look at scheduling additional sessions. If attendance is low, these will be the only scheduled dates.

✨ No partner needed — come solo, bring a friend, or gather a group!
✨ Beginners are welcome!

Please help us spread the word and invite others to join in the fun. We’d love to see this become a regular offering in Oelwein!

We’ve had so much fun watching these young athletes learn new skills, build confidence, and have a BLAST (see what we did there 😉) out on the field! 🙌

Thank you to all of our players, families, and volunteer coaches for making Blastball such a fun experience. We can’t wait for more Sunday fun ahead! 🌟

🤠💃 Interest Check: Square Dancing at the WWC! 🕺🎶

We’ve been approached by the Stardusters about starting a Square Dancing Club in Oelwein, and the WWC could potentially serve as the host site!

Before we get anything officially scheduled and on the calendar, we want to see if there’s enough interest from the community.

Tentative details:
📅 Tuesdays
🕒 Afternoon OR Evening (depending on interest)
⏳ 10-week commitment
💲 Approximately $10 per session
📍 Held at the WWC

⭐ You do NOT need a partner to join!
⭐ Beginners are welcome! No experience necessary — just come ready to have fun and learn something new.

WOW — thank you all for the incredible interest in Water Aerobics this summer! 🌊💙

We have officially reached capacity and the class is currently FULL. At this time, we are no longer accepting registrations for confirmed spots.

However, you can still sign up to be added to the waitlist in case a spot opens up. Openings will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

To join the waitlist, simply register the same way you normally would through the CivicRec website and you will be added to the waiting list.

🕚 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
📍 Starting July 14th and continuing through the remainder of the pool season.

📣 Attention WWC Families!

With the school year wrapped up and students moving into new grade levels, this is a reminder that our 5th & 6th Grade Etiquette Class is held every 3rd Wednesday of the month.

This class is required for any child entering 5th or 6th grade who would like to use the WWC during staffed hours without an adult present.
⚠️ Please note: This privilege is for WWC members only — no day passes allowed.
