Request to volunteer to help Veterans in the Tampa Bay area:

Hello,

We are requesting your consideration to volunteer for the upcoming 40th National Veterans Golden Age Games (NVGAG) hosted by the Tampa VA June 27-July 2, 2026. We are recruiting volunteers specifically for the Table Tennis events which will be held at the Tampa Convention Center. Specific shift dates/times are included below:

***IMPORTANT****Volunteer Assignments:

Shifts are approximately 4-6 hours.
Group Registration can be used to register youth without their own email addresses.
Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older.
10-13 years of age (Child) permitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the volunteer shift
​​The following sports are open to ages 10-13:
Badminton
Co****le
Pickleball
Table Tennis
14-17 years of age (Youth) can volunteer and must be accompanied by someone of either same age or older to participate with parental consent. All Teens must be picked up immediately after their shift ends.
Volunteers age 10-17 need to have a completed/signed Parental Consent Form with them at the start of their first shift. Parental consent form: https://online.flippingbook.com/view/573617987/

The FL Sunshine State Games is coming June 26 -28th for Table Tennis. It doesn't appear that sign-ups are available yet, but reserve the dates. And "No!" I will not be playing in most of the events again. Ugh, that was way too many matches that I played in. Anywya, hope to see you there!
