Our Journey to 81 Begins!

Our current state accountability score is 77, and this year, we have set a clear goal for ourselves: 81.

This journey is about more than a number. It’s about recognizing what our students are capable of and continuing to raise the bar for ourselves as a campus. We know there is work ahead of us, but we also know we have the students, staff, and determination to get there.

Every day in reading, math, science, social studies, and across our campus is another opportunity to grow. Every lesson, every standard, and every bit of progress moves us closer to our goal.

We believe in our students. We believe in our staff. And most importantly, we believe we are better than 77.
This year, we’re working together, pushing forward, and taking our Journey to 81!

Comienza nuestro Camino hacia el 81!

Nuestra puntuación actual de responsabilidad escolar del estado es 77, y este año nos hemos propuesto una meta clara: 81.

Este camino representa mucho más que un número. Se trata de reconocer todo lo que nuestros estudiantes son capaces de lograr y de seguir elevando nuestras expectativas como escuela. Sabemos que tenemos trabajo por delante, pero también sabemos que contamos con los estudiantes, el personal y la determinación necesarios para alcanzar nuestra meta.

Cada día en lectura, matemáticas, ciencias, estudios sociales y en toda nuestra escuela es una nueva oportunidad para crecer. Cada lección, cada estándar y cada avance nos acerca un paso más a nuestra meta.
Creemos en nuestros estudiantes. Creemos en nuestro personal. Y, sobre todo, creemos que somos mejores que un 77.

Este año, trabajaremos juntos, seguiremos avanzando y continuaremos nuestro ¡Camino hacia el 81!

🍉💛 TONIGHT!! Come see Petty Pop at the Nimitz Watermelon Feed! 💛🍉

We’ll be out there serving up your favorite fresh lemonades and dirty sodas starting at 6:30 PM! 🍋🥤

And the best part? A portion of Petty Pop’s proceeds will be donated right back to Nimitz! 💛💙

So come grab a drink, support the school, enjoy the Watermelon Feed, and help us give back while we’re at it! 🙌
