🔔 SOME TRADITIONS DON’T DISAPPEAR. THEY JUST STOP BEING TAUGHT.
There was a time when every Permian player knew what the District Bell meant.
It wasn’t just something sitting in a trophy case. It represented district championships, years of competition in the Little Southwest Conference, and generations of Panthers who came before them.
And when that bell made its way back to Permian, it had a job again.
First down. Ring it.
Turnover. Ring it.
Touchdown. RING IT.
Momentum swinging our way? Make some noise. 🔔
Traditionally, the Crew was responsible for ringing the bell from the sidelines. But the bell belongs to the tradition—and anyone on our sideline can step up and ring it.
Players. Coaches. Crew.
When Mojo makes a play, let them hear that bell.
Somewhere along the way, pieces of our history stopped being passed down. A lot of the kids wearing PERMIAN across their chest today have no idea these traditions ever existed.
They haven’t been taught them.
So maybe it’s time we teach them again.
Not because we’re trying to live in the past—but because you have to know the tradition before you can carry it forward.
New generation. Same Permian.
Teach the tradition.
Bring back the noise.
