CPR/AED & First Aid Certification, through Nelson's CPR & First Aid Training, this Saturday, August 2nd, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

The course provides individuals with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective basic life support in an emergency. The First Aid teaches individuals to effectively recognize the signs & symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. We teach how to treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until the fire department & emergency medical services personnel arrive on the scene.

Topics covered include emergency response, bleeding, shock, soft tissue injuries, bone, joint, and muscle injuries, sudden illness, and heat and cold-related illness and injury. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor & OSHA standards.

The cost is $80/person.

To register for the class:
* Go to the website www.nelsoncpr.com
* Click on the dropdown “Make a Class Payment” in the “Make a Payment” tab
* Pick the CPR/AED First Aid Combo class in the drop-down.
* Complete the form and payment.
* In the notes, put the date of the class (August 2nd) and say it's for Heritage Harbor. You can include my name as the contact person as well.
