A special day for Ascend Fastpitch Academy.

Today we stepped on the field for our very first tournament as Ascend Fastpitch 14U.

This is just the beginning.

For us, this is about more than putting a team on the field. It’s about creating an environment where athletes can develop, compete, learn the game, build confidence, and be surrounded by coaches and teammates who push them to get better.

Today was our first opportunity to compete together, learn together, and begin building the culture we want Ascend to represent.

Proud of the way these girls competed, supported each other, and represented Ascend.

Day 1 in the books.

Back at it tomorrow.

At Ascend, we want our athletes to understand why they’re doing the work, not just go through the motions.

Hitting. Conditioning. Competing. Accountability. Communication.

But most importantly, development.

Coach Elvys brings energy, knowledge and a genuine commitment to helping our athletes get better. The workout may be finished, but the teaching doesn’t stop.

WHY ASCEND FASTPITCH 14U?

There are a lot of travel softball teams in Florida.

So why choose Ascend?

Because we’re building something different.

We don’t want your daughter to just make a roster. We want to help develop the player she can become.

At 14U, players are entering important developmental years. If playing college softball is the goal, these years matter.

Who is teaching her?

Who is evaluating her development?

Who is helping her understand what she needs to improve?

Who is preparing her for high school and eventually the college recruiting process?

At Ascend Fastpitch 14U, development is the priority.

Our coaching staff includes former professional players and coaches with 40+ years of combined professional, college and coaching experience, including two coaches with MLB/professional baseball backgrounds.

We’re bringing that experience into the softball environment.

But this isn’t about putting MLB on a flyer.

It’s about what we can teach your daughter.

We’re looking for 2–3 committed players who are ready to be pushed, develop, and compete against strong competition.

Primary needs:
• Pitcher
• Catcher
• Athletic Outfielder

Take a look at our Fall 2026 schedule. We’re not looking to just play games. We’re building a competitive environment designed to challenge our players and prepare them for the next level.

Our coaching staff includes two former MLB baseball players and college coaches with extensive experience in player development and recruiting.

If your goal is to play college softball, you’ll not only be challenged on the field, but you’ll also learn what it takes to prepare for the recruiting process and separate yourself from the pack.
