As many of you already know, last year was our final year for dreamgirlfishing. It has been a pleasure fishing with everyone, but the time has come to concentrate on other things. FishOcracoke, Captain Rob Orr will be facilitating the Dreamgirlfishing.com website from this point forward and I would encourage those of you looking for a trip to give him a call.
I truly will miss fishing but Im not going anywhere so dont be shy to stop by and say hi while on the island or to reach out if you have questions.

Well folks we pulled the dreamgirl for Erin just as a precaution and while she’s up do some general maintenance that we can’t normally do while she’s in the water. Let’s hope this storm passes and hopefully doesn’t mess up HWY 12. Fishing has been good with some wahoos offshore and half days with a few bottom critters and Spanish and blues. Once the storm passes we are hoping to get back to fishing!

Got one last trip in before the wind and rain set in. We had Ray and his family on board they wanted to fill the freezer with fish I’d say we accomplished the mission. Thanks folks!

Sorry for the lack of posts folks we’ve been busy. Some pictures of our last few full day Gulf Stream trips and today’s half day with a few sea bass and trigger fish.

Capt Steve went up to Virginia to do a segment on his oysters grown right here in Ocracoke! We can’t get enough of em. Salty and clean and oh so delicious!

Yesterday we had long time friend and customer Tommy Beach and family on the boat. Needless to say it was an action packed day with wahoos. Thanks folks!

Yesterday we went out on a fun trip with the boss man Stevie. Went sword fishing and had three bites couldn’t hold on to em. We had some free diving and scuba diving on our list also. Ran across a small tender boat that had some dolphins on it so we decided to take advantage of this opportunity, we speared some dolphin fish. Then we ran to a world war 2 wreak and Capt Stevie got to do a dive. Beautiful day couldn’t get better! For some reason I can’t post pictures with a video so I’ll post a few pictures in the comments!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting some exceptional individuals from ENC. Wahoo was featured on our menu. Today, we had a half-day excursion with some delightful young ladies, and it was a treat to be fishing during snapper season, allowing us to catch and keep these fish. We are only permitted to catch these fish two days a year. Thanks folks!

Happy 4th from all of us at Dream Girl Sport fishing! We hope that everyone has a great day celebrating our independence with family and friends. We spent our day on the wreaks catching a few fish!
