Everyone PLEASE READ👀🧐

A couple of reminders: 🤔
-Everything is FREE, we rely solely on donations. 💰
-We only have about 50 tubes, so if you have a tube, we suggest that you do bring it. We have an air compressor on site.
-Please SHARE the tubes 🫶
-Be respectful and CLEAN UP after yourselves. Last Sunday there was a LOT of garbage that the volunteers had to pickup. 👎
-Anyone with long hair, you have to tie your hair up!!! We have had several incidents where the hair or a scarf gets tangled and we don't want to cut your hair! 😲🫣
-We are going to change the limit of hot dogs to (1) hot dog per day, per person. Cocoa will still be a limit of (2) per person, per day.
-We love seeing our community come out to enjoy hot dogs and cocoa! Please remember that this hill is run entirely by volunteers and supported through donations. If you’re able, we kindly ask that you enjoy the hill or leave a donation so we can continue offering this for everyone! 🥰
-There is a small shack at the bottom of the return lane, last Sunday there were kids breaking the windows on this shack. If this continues, we will shut down permanently!
-If your child can not hang on to the rope, they can NOT go down/up by themselves! This causes issues on the return lane.

Lastly, we will not be open Saturday, February 7, 2026, but we WILL BE OPEN Sunday, February 8, 2026. ❄️😎❄️

Volunteers are unavailable for Saturday and Sunday is below zero with the windchill.

We will definitely be closed tomorrow, Saturday 1/10/26. Sunday is dependent on the snow, we are basically starting from scratch, so we need a few inches.
We will post tomorrow night or early Sunday morning if we will be open, but it’s looking doubtful.

Grass is definitely present…we shoveled snow on the return lane as much as we could. So we will open tomorrow, Sunday 1/4, 1-4.
**If the grass starts showing more we may close early. Just an FYI.

Happy Friday Everyone!
A few things to keep in mind when visiting the tubing hill:
-All workers are VOLUNTEERS.
-Tubes ONLY (no sleds, skis, etc...)
-We have 50 tubes to SHARE - please share!
-Everything is free - we rely solely on donations.
-If the temp, including windchill, is below zero, we do not open.

In regards to some of the negative comments:
- We HAVE to wait for snow to have an inspection, the inspector prefers to have snow to see how it runs with snow, and these have to be done each year before we can open.
- For those who want to volunteer, . If you would like to help at the bottom or at the top of the return lane, please let us know and we can get you a vest! If you want to help keep the campfire going, again, let us know! If you would like to cut wood during the off season, please let us know. *We definitely do NOT need help in the shack, we have more than enough help in the shack!!
- Even though we have received several inches, there are still some areas where grass is showing, due to the extreme winds and drifting. These tubes are very expensive and that grass wears them down quickly!
- It would cost hundreds of thousands (yes we looked into it) to get wells put in along with upgraded electrical and also snow guns.

🥳🥳🥳 With that being said, YES, we WILL be open this Saturday, 1/3/26!
Sunday is TBD due to those grassy areas, and we will re-evaluate at the end of the day on Saturday.🥰
