Golf ⛳️ for tonight is canceled. Not surprisingly all the 💧 has the course closed.

We will however still have our banquet and awards. Clubhouse will be open for us between 5pm and 730pm. Dinner at 6pm

Summer End - Flighted Tournament and Banquet/Awards

We are making a few changes to our last night and we hope you will enjoy...

Schedule
4:30pm - Tournament Championship Playoffs (front nine)
4:30pm - Par 3 Scramble (back nine)
7pm - Banquet and Awards

Tournament Championship Playoffs

The flighted league tournament we hosted in August had several players in each flight so close in total scores that we are going to have a playoff to determine this year's tournament champions.

Playoff Format
- The format is a 3 hole event. Starting hole is 7, then playing 8 and 9
- The player with the lowest total score after 3 holes is the winner.
- A playoff to settle any ties after 3 holes will be played in a sudden-death format, with playoff holes being 1 and 9 played again and again by any qualifying players. The players compete hole-by-hole until a winner is determined by a player scoring the lowest among the remaining players.

Congratulations to the following ladies who played so well in August and earned the opportunity to be Tournament Champion in your respective flight.

- you will be playing within your flight group
- score cards will be exchanged
- please grab a cart partner and meet on hole 7
- we ask that all competitors arrive to the 7th hole tee box by 4:20
- Flight A will tee off first at 4:30pm followed by B, C and D

For those of you that are not in the playoff.

Your options are:
To play Par 3 on the back nine. Make your own teams. Par 3 course will be set up at 4:30pm for you to just go out and play. You can play our own ball or play as a scramble. Whatever you wish -- it is just for fun!

or

cheer on your favorite players in the tournament by enjoying some comradery and cocktails while watching from the patio or "quietly walking" the course (not interfering with play or talking with players)

Promptly at 7pm - Banquet and Awards will begin

We are week "4" into our flighted Club Championship League Tournament so it is a normal golf night. Remember, we need 5 scores recorded between 8/1/2022 and 8/29/2022. So please be sure to make up rounds if you have missed.

REMINDER - TONIGHT is the LAST NIGHT to SIGN UP and PAY for the Banquet|Awards Dinner on September 12th. This is a catered event -- the cost is $10 - sign up and payment envelope will be on the table.

Also -- please take some pictures tonight and share on our page, as the season is drawing to an end it would be nice!

Tonight's event is Subtract your Age from your Score -- so please do that at the bottom of your scorecard and circle. (So you should have two scores - your real score and Age score)

Plus, tonight is TACO BAR night! Bring some cash and enjoy the feast prepared by T2.

Tonight is PARTNER CHALLENGE NIGHT as well as a normal golf night because we are in the middle of our tournament.

Please take two score cards.
One that has already been completed for you for the Partner Challenge and can be found on the table and one blank (to keep your official score). You will be submitting 2 score cards.

The Partner Challenge cards. The dots represent your handicap and the number of strokes you receive in the challenge.

So -- if you have a 6 on a hole and have 3 dots, your score for the hole is a 3

- Normal golf, must play each week or make up play with someone in the league
- 5 scores recorded between 8/1/2022 and 8/29/2022.
- Score cards must be signed by a league witness.

- Tournament time means we play by the RULES (so no mulligans, we count penalty strokes, etc) - if there is a question on rules just ASK! (It's not meant to be scary but about learning the game)

- If there is a tie in any of the flights - there will have a 3 hole shootout (Playoff) on September 12th at 4pm prior to our Summer's End Scramble

Few things to know for the upcoming weeks....

Next week is: 2 Best Ball team Event (it is also normal golf)

Team score is the Best Two Scores of the group (so similar to this past week you are better off golfing with a th*****me/ foursome team and giving yourself some scoring options!)

So your scorecard will reflect your normal score and one team score.
