Let’s give a shout out to all of our members who took part in the RVCBCC (Rockville Centre Breast Cancer Coalition) 5K this past weekend 👏

Proud of you all for lacing up your running shoes, braving the chilly temps, and competing for a good cause 🏃

Worth noting - our very own Michelle Calderon was the first woman to cross the finish line, and fifth place overall 🏆

🚨 ATTENTION MEMBERS - UPDATED SCHEDULE 🗓️

Our new fall schedule for small-group personal training begins next Monday, August 31st!

🆕 Here’s what’s changing for the fall season:

PM session times are moving up to 4:30 PM, 5:30 PM, and 6:30 PM

📝 As always, the booking window for sessions in TeamBuildr OS opens up 2 weeks ahead of time. Make an effort to book your sessions well ahead of time so that you don’t get shut out of the times that you really want to train.

Meet Yvens! After over a year of training with us at Zen, he’s feeling stronger and fitter than every before.

Yvens trains at Zen 2-3 days per week, and then follows our program on his own at another gym near his job an extra 2-3 times each week. He’s also a regular member of our weekly run club.

He’s made BIG strides since he came in for his first session back in April of 2025! At that time Yvens was having trouble getting through a session without taking lots of breaks to catch his breath...

Fast forward to today and he’s ripping through his workouts, gaining strength every week, and running further than ever before.

Most importantly, Yvens actually ENJOYS coming in to the gym to train now. He looks forward to working out at Zen, because it’s a community where everyone is welcomed and no one ever feels intimidated.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for the St. Anthony’s Feast 5K Run/Walk!

We were gifted sunshine, blue skies, and all the positive energy of the Oceanside community today.

Shout out to all of our amazing members and coaches who showed up this morning to the race:

Fabio, Diana, Tim, Katie, Meredith, Alli, Yvens, Amos, Coach Lisa, Andrew, Corinne, Cheryl, Helen, Amy, Nicky, and Coach Ben - you rocked it!

And a BIG thanks to Coach Michelle and Coach Ryan for handling the Zen booth while we were all out running the streets.

Zen will definitely be back next year!

P.s. the Zen Run & Walk Club meets every Sunday morning down on the Long Beach Boardwalk at 7 AM, and it’s open to everyone. Send us a DM if you want to link up with us this summer to start running.

🗓️ NEW SCHEDULE 🗓️

Our modified summer schedule for small-group personal training starts next Monday, June 15th!

Here’s what’s changing for the summer:

🆕 Added 8 AM + 9 AM morning sessions on Thursdays
🆕 Evening sessions start at 5 PM, 6 PM, and 7 PM on Monday-Thursday
🆕 6 AM + 7 AM morning sessions are going away on Fridays for the time being

Members - make sure to book your sessions well ahead of time on TeamBuildr OS. Summer is our busiest time of the year, and booking well ahead guarantees that you get to train at the times you prefer most 💪
