The secret to effortless power isn’t in your arms, it’s in the weight of the club head.

Too many golfers try to force the swing instead of feeling it.

This drill trains you to sense the club head, let the weight flow, and allow your arms to switch naturally, trail to lead, lead to trail, without tension.

Choke down, take some half swings, and focus on letting the club point early.

Once you feel it, go full.

I probably knew I wanted to be a golf instructor when I was 18.

I even did my senior project on it.

The funny part is, I was too dumb to realize that’s what I actually wanted to do.

Life took me in a few different directions before I finally came back to it in my 30s. Looking back, everything happened when it was supposed to.

What keeps me motivated now isn’t really my own golf game.

It’s watching my students improve.

Seeing something finally click. Watching someone hit a shot they’ve never hit before. Seeing them enjoy the game more because they understand it better.

Don’t get me wrong, improving your own game is incredibly satisfying.

But helping someone else improve theirs might be even better. ⛳
