Before we begin our new dance season, there is a very special group of girls that I would like to recognize. All summer, I've tried not to think about the fact that our Senior Elites would be moving on and beginning their college careers. I've watched them grow up here at DI, most from little babies to smart, mature and beautiful young ladies both inside and out. Angelina, Anya, Dailene, Joelle, Maddie, Mona & Sophia it was my privilege to be a part of your lives for so long. You are all so very special and will always be a part of our DI Family. 💖💖

I'm proud to share our Senior Elites in their final contemporary routine, "This Woman's Work. " Their technique, grace and stage performance in this routine is beyond impressive. In the elite level, they placed in the top 2 of all 15-19 senior small groups. They received the Excellence in Choreography Award, were SDA Regional Champions for having the highest scoring routine and won the coveted Golden Ticket to Worlds.

I couldn't have asked for better role models for all of our younger dancers. I can't wait to see what you all achieve in the future. We will all miss you 💖💖💖

Congratulations to the DI Dance Company for their fabulous performances at the World Dance Championships!!! Worlds is always a highlight of our competition season and this year did not disappoint. Worlds is an invitation only competition, that only the highest scoring routines receive a golden ticket to attend! It's the best of the best competing against each other!! We had 11 routines attend this year and the results were so impressive!

Congrats to our Petite & Intermediate Companies!! "Dock of the Bay" were 3rd Place World Dance Champions and He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not were Top Ten Finalists !!! These routines looked beautiful on stage and competed fiercely!! We are all so proud of you girls!!! Stay tuned for more results!!

What an unforgettable day yesterday was for our DI Family! ✨

From the moment the curtains opened until the final Finale, the day was filled with pure joy, excitement, and unforgettable memories.

All five of our shows were absolutely incredible. Every dancer shined on stage, and the performances were nothing short of spectacular. But what I will remember most are the smiles—the genuine happiness, pride, and excitement radiating from every dancer throughout the day.

One of the most beautiful parts of the day was watching our dancers support one another. Whether they were cheering from the wings, helping a younger dancer, sharing a hug, or celebrating each other’s successes, they truly embodied what being part of the DI Family is all about. The love, kindness, and sense of community on display were simply heartwarming.

To our amazing audiences, thank you for filling the auditorium with so much energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement. Your applause, cheers, and support helped make the day even more special for every dancer who stepped onto that stage.

And to our dancers and families—thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your children, for your commitment throughout the season, and for being such an important part of our Dance Innovations family. Because of all of you, our 24th Annual Recital, Iconic, was truly one for the books.

I am beyond proud of every dancer who took the stage and so grateful for the memories we created together. It was a day filled with magic, and one I will never forget. 💜🩵
