As we quickly approach our 24th Annual Recital, I wanted to share some highlights from our fabulous competition season!!! Our 8 and under and 9-11 soloists and duos were on fire!!! It's not easy to get on that stage by yourself or just with one friend, but these girls not only did it, but owned that stage and shined like the stars they are. Our soloists Aria, Nikki, Olivia, Ava, Brooke, Nicolette, Olivia, Shay & Tessa and our duos Nikki & Kayla, Sloane & Willow, Reagan & Giuliana, Hannah & Rihannah, Mia & Allison we are all so proud of you!!! They were all top 10 finalists, with so many top 5 and top 3 placements. I'm proud to say we had the top overall 8 and under solo, 9-11 Solo and 8 and under duo!!!! Congratulations Girls!!!

Before we take the Starpower stage this weekend, I need to give a huge congratulations to our very own Joelle for being crowned Premier Miss Imagine last month! Joelle has been dancing at DI since she's little and a beloved member of our DI Company for years!! Joelle brings technique, artistry and emotion every time she dances on stage. 15-19 solos is such a competitive division and Joelle just shined!! We are all so proud of this impressive accomplishment! We love you Joelle 💖💖💖👑🥇

Now that we have all had time to recover from our 1st full studio competition of the season, I want to congratulate our Company Dancers on a spectacular weekend!!!! Our weekend at Imagine was full of fun, smiles, lots of dancing and lots of awards!!! Congratulations to our Grand Line/Production, "We Run This." Our production is always a favorite of mine. This year all 97 of our Company Dancers from all 7 of our companies performed together to create this routine. Myself along with Miss Jen E., Miss Jill and Miss Alanna all collaborated to create this dance. I knew it was going to be fabulous but I was blown away by what took place on that stage for almost 7 minutes. My dancers killed it! The energy coming off of that stage and the level of dancing was so impressive. I'm so proud of all of my dancers for coming together, working together, watching out for each other, supporting each other and showing up for every rehearsal to make this dance such a success!! All of that hard work was rewarded....We received 5 stars, 1st in category, 1st overall 11 and under Grand Line, the Entertainment Award, a Golden Ticket to Worlds and we were the SDA Champions with the highest scoring routine!!! I can't wait to see it on stage again next month 💖💖 More results and pictures to come!!!
