When it comes to proper bike setup we are always happy to break it down for you! No but seriously…
Your ride starts before the first pedal stroke.
Proper bike setup is the foundation of a strong, safe, and effective class. It helps you move better, ride stronger, and protect your body so you can keep showing up for yourself.
Here’s what to check before class:
✨ Seat height
Stand next to your bike and line your seat up with your hip bone. When clipped in, your knee should have a slight bend at the bottom of your pedal stroke, never locked out.
✨ Seat position
With your pedals level, your front knee should stack right over the center of your foot. This helps support power and protects your knees.
✨ Handlebar height
Your handlebars should feel supportive, not stressful. New riders or anyone with tight hips or low back tension may feel better with handlebars set a little higher.
✨ Grip and posture
Relax your shoulders, soften your elbows, and keep your core engaged. You are here to ride with strength, not tension.
At VERVE, we believe mindful performance starts with the basics. When your setup feels right, your body and mind can fully connect to the work.
