Landsharks Rugby

Landsharks Rugby We practice every Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm at the West Jackson County Soccer Complex. We are a member of USA Rugby's True South Men's Division III league.

Primarily playing as a 15's team until the summer when we branch off into the 7's games. Rugby is a free-flowing game that features a combination of strength, speed and strategy to move a ball into an opponents territory. Rugby is a full-contact sport yet players wear little-or no protective gear. Rugby evolved from football (i.e. soccer) and is often called the ‘game played in heaven’. (Courtesy

Here is a look at what our current status is with recruiting for both a Men's and Women's team, as well as our Old Boys support. If we can work together to get the word out on recruiting new talent and organizing the Old Boys to help develop a strong Admin/Philanthropy/Booster Community, we be stronger than ever.
